Lesley Logan, author of Profitable Pilates, teaches the Joseph Pilates Archival version of the exercise ‘Corkscrew’ on the Reformer at Westwood Pilates studio in Los Angeles, California. The Archival Corkscrew is similar to the current Corkscrew. Just the choreography has a few changes. Grabbing the handles on the shoulder blocks roll up to your tall back. Roll down one side and pause barely off the carriage. Hold. Then roll through center and over to the other side. Hold a couple inches off the mat. Then finish your roll up. Reverse and repeat.
