  2. Either. You can get the same health benefits by dieting, jogging lifting weights. even doing yoga. With Tai Chi or whatever else that's similar, the great mistake is passing it off as a self-defense art or any kind of combative heart. To which it is not. Anybody heard of the UFC? Or MMA?. Of all the combative competitions, the UFC or any M.M.A matches are the closest thing to a real fight with minimum amount of rules. Just recently, if you look in YouTube, a Tai Chi Master got his face kicked in when he challenging MMA fighter in China and it was all caught on video it's on YouTube. If you want to practice Health just say Tye cheese just for health but not for fighting or self-defense or anything combative. But once you start passing something off his combative that's never been proven to work. If anything is video showing master rank Tai Chi practitioners getting their face kicked in by an MMA fighter
