    I'm a big fan of the videos and I also thought you were great in Season 3 of Narcos on Netflix …

    Force curves – mine has a very steep onset, but then shifts to being a good haystack shape. So at the catch I show an almost unnatural acceleration. Why might this be?

    I don't have the best catch – I have a limited range of movement in my right knee (hence indoor rower rather than treadmill or even stationary bike) that doesn't quite allow me to get my lower-legs vertical. But I'm pretty sure the rest of my stroke is OK and playing around with the damper/drag-factor and stroke rate doesn't seem to alter this much

    Like all bad workmen, I'd like to blame my tools. Could there be some sort of slippage in the clutch on the machine. I admit, I've only ever used this one machine in my apartment complex gym.

    Any pointers greatly appreciated.
