Twists are some of my favorite poses to do as they bring a boost of energy, relieve aches and pains in the low back, stimulate healthy digestion and improve mobility of the spine.
Twists are often associated with detoxing and although that may sound like a bunch of nonsense, all that’s really meant by this is that twists support the natural process of digestion and elimination by compression and decompressing the internal organs.
